We are a group of skilled physical therapists working in cash based private practice that specialize in treating pelvic dysfunctions.  We have teamed up to help provide the Charlotte area with a single place to connect individuals to the physical therapist that can best support their pelvic health.

Darlene has been a licensed physical therapist since 1997 and has been working in pelvic health since 2003. She works with women of all ages dealing with bowel or bladder issues, pregnancy related issues, pelvic pain, and painful intercourse. She also works with children, ages 4 and up, who are dealing with bowel or bladder issues, including constipation and bed wetting. She uses manual/hands-on techniques (including internal and external pelvic assessments), dry needling, biofeedback, therapeutic exercises and education to promote pelvic health. Her practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, but she provides a superbill which can be utilized for insurance claim submission.

Emily has been a licensed physical therapist since 2014 and has been working in pelvic health since 2017. She works with women of all ages and in all stages of life who deal with pelvic floor dysfunction such as; bowel/bladder concerns, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and painful intercourse/penetration. She's also specialized in treating women throughout and after their pregnancy to assure continued strength and decreased pain and dysfunction as their bodies go through these stages of change. Emily uses a full body approach to treatment using a Specialized Functional Movement Assessment, hands on internal/external manual techniques and intentional exercises to correct the dysfunction at hand. Her practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, she does take HSA/FSA and she provides a superbill which can be submitted for insurance reimbursement. Jenn has been a licensed physical therapist since 1998 and has been working in pelvic health since 2020. She works with women of all ages dealing with pelvic issues, as well as men and women who are dealing with chronic pain. She uses Alpha Stim, Pain neuroscience, Dry Needling, KT taping, Manual therapy, External and Internal work, and Cold Laser to help her clients regain function. Her practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, but she does take HSA and FLEX cards. She provides a superbill which can be utilized for insurance claim submission. She does not treat Medicare or government eligible patients (Tricare/Medicaid). “I’m an emphatic healer with a passion for helping others. I specialize in the treatment of pelvic health and chronic pain conditions. So many of my pelvic health patients also have chronic pain elsewhere, while many of my patients with chronic pain have undiagnosed pelvic floor dysfunction that drives their symptoms. I focus on treating your whole body and mind to help you achieve your goals and maximize your quality of life.”

Barbara has been a licensed physical therapist since 1984 and has been working in pelvic health since 1999. She opened her practice in 2000 and was joined by Beth Goldman, PT in 2017. They treat conditions associated with pre and post-partum, urinary and fecal control issues (frequency, delay, incontinence, interstitial cystitis, constipation, and others), tailbone pain (coccygodynia), pudendal neuralgia, pelvic and abdominal pain, vaginismus, and painful intercourse. Some specifically male issues that they work with include post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence, urinary frequency and burning, abdominal pain, hard flaccid, and penis and scrotal pain. Both therapists internal and external work, manual therapy, dry needling, biofeedback, and education. Their practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, but they provide a superbill which can be utilized for out of network coverage.

Ginger Morrissey, DPT, FAAOMPT, CMTPT

Ginger been a licensed PT since 1997 and has been working in pelvic health with prenatal since 2012. She expanded to internal exams and all areas of pelvic health in 2022. She works with adult men and women with incontinence, pelvic pain, painful intercourse, and pregnancy related issues. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedics and is Certified by Myopain Seminars in Dry Needling. She is also an assistant instructor for MyoPain Seminars in their Dry Needling series. She uses manual techniques, (including internal exams/interventions), dry needling, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, education on nutrition, stress management, sleep hygiene to promote pelvic health. Ginger owns Pin Point Physical Therapy partnering with the community to get you back to the things you love without pain or leaking using natural solutions. Pin Point Physical Therapy is located in the South Park area of Charlotte. She is a Medicare Provider, and is out of network with commercial insurances. She will file claims for some commercial insurances electronically so you can be reimbursed for your visits.

Jennie Murray, DPT

Jennie has been a licensed PT since 2004 and has been working in pelvic health since 2018. She works with women in the prenatal post partum period and also works with men, women and children for general orthopedic issues. She uses manual techniques, (including internal exams/interventions, muscle energy and mulligan techniques), taping, cupping, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercise. Jennie also incorporates her many years of Barre classes into her practice. Her practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, but she provides a superbill which can be utilized for insurance claim submission. She accepts HSA payments. Jennie strives to get you moving and back to activities you love as quickly as possible!

Karolyn Kilpinen, DPT

Karolyn has been a licensed PT since 2009 and has been working in pelvic health since 2021. She works with women in the prenatal and postpartum period as well as treating pelvic health issues throughout a women’s lifespan. Karolyn also works with men, women and children for sports and orthopedic issues. She uses manual techniques, (including internal pelvic exams/interventions), myofascial release, IASTM, functional training, and kinesiology taping. Her practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, but she provides a superbill which can be utilized for insurance claim submission. She accepts HSA and FSA payments. Karolyn provides bespoke one-on-one sessions with a functional, whole body approach to move you forward.
