We are a group of skilled physical therapists working in cash based private practice that specialize in treating pelvic dysfunctions.  We have teamed up to help provide the Charlotte area with a single place to connect individuals to the physical therapist that can best support their pelvic health.

Emily has been a licensed physical therapist since 2014 and has been working in pelvic health since 2017. She works with women of all ages and in all stages of life who deal with pelvic floor dysfunction such as; bowel/bladder concerns, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and painful intercourse/penetration. She's also specialized in treating women throughout and after their pregnancy to assure continued strength and decreased pain and dysfunction as their bodies go through these stages of change. Emily uses a full body approach to treatment using a Specialized Functional Movement Assessment, hands on internal/external manual techniques and intentional exercises to correct the dysfunction at hand. Her practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, she does take HSA/FSA and she provides a superbill which can be submitted for insurance reimbursement. She uses Alpha Stim, Pain neuroscience, Dry Needling, KT taping, Manual therapy, External and Internal work, and Cold Laser to help her clients regain function. Her practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, but she does take HSA and FLEX cards. She provides a superbill which can be utilized for insurance claim submission. She does not treat Medicare or government eligible patients (Tricare/Medicaid). “I’m an emphatic healer with a passion for helping others. I specialize in the treatment of pelvic health and chronic pain conditions. They treat conditions associated with pre and post-partum, urinary and fecal control issues (frequency, delay, incontinence, interstitial cystitis, constipation, and others), tailbone pain (coccygodynia), pudendal neuralgia, pelvic and abdominal pain, vaginismus, and painful intercourse. Some specifically male issues that they work with include post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence, urinary frequency and burning, abdominal pain, hard flaccid, and penis and scrotal pain. Both therapists provide internal and external work, manual therapy, dry needling, biofeedback, and education. Their practice is considered out-of-network with all insurance companies, but they provide a superbill which can be utilized for out of network coverage.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedics and is Certified by Myopain Seminars in Dry Needling. She is also an assistant instructor for MyoPain Seminars in their Dry Needling series. Pin Point Physical Therapy is located in the South Park area of Charlotte. She is a Medicare Provider, and is out of network with commercial insurances. She will file claims for some commercial insurances electronically so you can be reimbursed for your visits.

Jesse uses a holistic approach to your care, using a Specialized Functional Movement Assessment to determine underlying causes of dysfunction prior to initiating treatment. Treatment techniques may include hands on internal and external manual techniques, dry needling with or without electrical stimulation, nervous system retraining, cupping, instrument-assisted fascial release, spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization, yoga-based techniques, and intentional exercises to correct the dysfunction at hand.
